Community Ambassador & Retail Market Associate

General Summary: As a Lake Nona Community Ambassador team member we are creating guest and resident experiences, communicating with guests, and presenting the Lake Nona brand and story to guests, residents, and realtors at the Lake Nona Information Center. We ensure guest experiences and expectations are exceptional. As a Canvas Market retail associate team member our role includes knowledge of product, product sales and inventory and receiving procedures.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Meet and greet Lake Nona Information Center and Canvas Market guests.
  • Gather information from guests to identify real estate needs, and determine appropriate action for Lake Nona Information Center
  • Maintain an energetic, friendly and positive attitude with all guests
  • Provide all aspects of Lake Nona residential and commercial product, and resident life in Lake Nona to guests
  • Provide Lake Nona residential product offerings in the Information Center and facilitate guest retail product sales
  • Perform operational procedures for the Information Center and retail operation
  • Provide information in a timely manner to guests and residents that inquire in person, over the telephone or via email
  • Maintain inventory levels of collateral and other supplies used to communicate with guests
  • Help organize and maintain displays in the market and information center
  • Create and maintain reports and lists as directed and other operational duties as assigned
  • Perform retail product receiving, stocking, and inventory
  • Maintain guest service presence on the floor
  • Accept payments from guests via POS system. Handle guest transactions and bank
  • Maintain Market Place retail area, clean, organized and well stocked. Maintain attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow tasks
  • All other duties assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent required.  Associates degree preferred
  • Computer skills mandatory.  Word and Excel are essential
  • Excellent verbal communications skills
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and presentation experience a must
  • Real Estate experience a strong plus
  • Retail Experience a strong plus
  • Computer skills a must
  • Ability to work independently and follow tasks
  • Must be able to work productively with little direction or supervision
  • Excellent presentation, organization and communication skills mandatory
  • Must maintain upbeat and personable and energetic attitude
  • Flexibility is a must.  Must be available for evenings, weekends and holidays

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above. 
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled 8 hour shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to communicate in English effectively with other individuals
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
