Homeowners’ Association Manager

 

General Summary:  The Homeowners’ Association Manager is responsible for establishing cohesive working relationship between the Developer, Owners, HOA Management Company and CCD’s.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Maintain a high frequency of interaction with community residents
  • Manage onsite compliance with HOA rules and regulation
  • Conduct ongoing routine site inspections and reports
  • Tracking compliance issues for residents and for builders within the builder program
  • Track and review ARB Applications and review installs to verify compliance
  • Initial review includes:  Exterior paint colors, Elevations, Plot Plans, Landscape Plans
  • Final review includes:  Final Landscape signoff and turnover per initial landscape approval
  • Participate in final townhome building turnovers to the HOA management company
  • Assist with owner requested modifications (such as landscape, structure, outdoor equipment, signage, exterior color, etc.). 
  • Lead update effort on community use restrictions and guidelines
  • Assist with annual budget creation
  • Assist with maintenance of Tavistock owned parcels and lots (specific to residential)
  • Attend and assist with coordination efforts related to Homeowner Association meetings and association managed events
  • Coordinate and manage Resident Advisory Committees
  • Coordinate with TDC property management and security
  • Assist with entering lot data into existing GIS system
  • Assist in problem solving compliance issues amongst owners and the HOA
  • Point of contact for residential irrigation and landscaping related concerns
  • Participate in TDC TQM Committee to ensure quality, look and value of neighborhood meets company’s standards
  • Collaborate on Marketing efforts to uphold the Lake Nona brand high quality standards
  • Perform other duties as requested

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous Homeowner Association Management experience
  • In depth experience with project management, budget management and strategic goal development
  • Willingness to travel to and from community meetings and Tavistock offices daily 
  • Must be able to actively participate in evening meetings as required
  • Flexibility to be on call as needed
  • FL Community Association Managers (CAM) License
  • Understanding of association governing documents
  • Excellent customer service with and high emphasis on timely communication, responsiveness and organization
  • Results-oriented team player with a high level of integrity
  • Demonstrate ability to foster collaboration and build relationships
  • PC proficiency to include (but not limited to) Microsoft Office applications
  • A valid Florida Driver’s License

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
  • Must be physically able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds
